We have visited this Mulligan’s several times. Located right on the corner of downtown Jensen Beach, there is a distant view of the Indian River.

Designed more like a casual Tiki-hut atmosphere, there are plenty of tables inside and out.

The bar area is exceptional. Plenty of people come to Happy Hour to sit around this inviting bar. People are usually friendly and it is a good area to “people watch.” The drink prices are absolutely reasonable. One of their signature drinks is the Shrimp Blood Mary. We have enjoyed the Firecracker Shrimp that is served as an appetizer.

Three of my family members on Mother’s Day enjoyed the hamburger.

Unfortunately, it goes down hill from here. A friend of mine ordered the Mahi dinner. The fish was shriveled up and uneatable. My wife ordered a shrimp salad. The shrimp were way undercook and “fishy.” The large shrimp with my Bloody Mary came “fishy” too.

I thought I would be safe by ordering the Reuben. The meat had little taste and the onion rings were nothing special.

Due to being at the crossroads, you will see many cars pass by. You may also hear motorcycles reviving up their engines. Sometimes these motorcycles are way too loud.

Mulligan’s is a popular restaurant for some. We give it Four Stars for ambiance, but only a generous two stars for food.
