Duke’s quality of food and atmosphere is legendary. This is so true at Duke’s in Kauai located next to the Marriott Resort and Nawiliwili Bay. There is a relaxing and fun atmosphere.

Our first visit we sat in the bar area and met some entertaining people. The staff was extremely attentive and accommodating.

My wife had the fish tacos and I had the marinated meat Korean tacos. Both dishes were mouthwatering good. Our second visit we ordered the Veggie Flatbread which also is very good.

At certain times in the afternoon there is music. It was extremely relaxing to listen to the music and watching the ocean waves in the bay.

A must for those who have never ordered this dessert, is Duke’s famous Hula ice cream cake. Even if you have tried it, you know what I mean by saying “It’s so good.”
