Located by the harbor point of the Aloha Tower complex, Gordon Biersch Restaurant has an incredible view of the harbor. We went on Sunday and were able to snag “free” parking.
Aloha Tower complex is going through some major changes.
By contract, Gordon Biersch is allowed to stay where they are. It is an exceptional place with very good food.
We enjoyed the “garlic” edamame’s, pizza and Cajun pasta. The service was outstanding. We sat at the bar and everyone was friendly.
It is a long walk from Waikiki, but a short car ride away. We were able to sign up with Gordon Biersch Rewards “Passport” card, and received a free appetizer for our second visit.
Cruises dock next door, and this would be a good place for a pre cruise snack or drink. It would also be an excellent alternative from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki.
Moored not too far away is the ship Star of Honolulu and the dock over is the Hawaii Maritime Center. The Falls of Clyde is docked there too.
