A new and remodeled restaurant since December of 2015, we found the Happy Hour at Hudson’s a delight. The view from the Hudson over the valley and mountains is gorgeous. There is not a bad seat in the place.
The bar area is huge and inviting, and that’s where we sat for two different Happy Hours from 3:00PM to 6:00PM. We were served by Cole and another gentleman from “Wisconsin,” both of whom were friendly and professional.
My wife enjoyed the Artichoke Dip made with four different types of cheeses.
She also liked the salad with the ginger dressing.
The shrimp and chicken drumsticks made with Fireball Whisky was tasty.
had the Mussels, but had to turn them back as they were a bit “fishy.”
I did enjoy the Corn Chowder. A bit too spicy for my wife, but hit the spot for me with plenty of corn. The bowl was almost a meal.
I later ordered the Sausage Bruschetta, but it had little taste. The Roast Beef slider was good though and reasonable.
Talking to a local, the woman enjoyed the “steak” dinner. “Pricy” she said, but it “was delicious”.
