A Disneyesque Experience for the entire Family

A popular restaurant in Disney Springs
5 of 5 stars

Always a line and usually crowded, the T-Rex is arguably the busiest restaurant in downtown Disney Springs. With an assortment of animated dinosaurs, it is truly an amazing experience, even for one time.

These dinosaurs move!

My wife and I circumvent the lines and sit at “The Shark Bar.”

Kathie is to far right and the man in the middle wearing the hat is a banker from Brazil.

I would not recommend a family sitting at the bar as it does take away from that “communal bonding” experience.  At one time there did exist  Bamboo Sharks—no longer. There are other aquariums located in T-Rex, smaller, but still amazing.

These aquariums are absolutely amazing.

We have ordered the Onion soup made with sherry. I like it well done and usually it comes out the way I like it.

I like my cheese burnt!

One of my friends ordered a steak and thought it was delicious. The Strawberry Daiquiris are good too.

Even though a large restaurant, the service is outstanding. We always felt the bartenders at least, were attentive and friendly.

This restaurant accommodates plenty of people.

The founder of T-Rex, Rainforest Café and Disney’s newest restaurant, The Boathouse, Steven Schussler, has written a book, “It’s a JUNGLE in there.” It is an interesting read.

It is fascinating how Steven Schussler started these animated restaurants.
