Located in Lauterbrunnen, the Staubbach falls is majestic. Maybe the most picturesque falls in Switzerland.
Falling 900 feet, the water spreads out causing a mist, at the very least, a gorgeous view.
The trail up the falls takes about 15-20 minutes. We found “walking sticks” at the base of the trail. That’s a nice Swiss hospitality.
Using switchbacks, you eventually come to a tunnel.

At the end of the tunnel begins a short climb up. This is where it can get wet. Make sure your shoes don’t slide. Eventually you are walking on rocks behind the falls. It is a superb experience and something you will never forget.
When it gets dark, the Staubback Falls are lite up. It is a magical site too. You can easily see why these falls are made for stories and fables.
