Don’t confuse the sister restaurant, Barcghetto, which is downstairs. This historic restaurant, began in 1887, is the Terrazza Barchetta which is upstairs with the white table clothes. It is fine dining without the cost.
We sat at a table with a view of the alley way.
Our server was Michael, a perfect gentleman and friendly. Later, the chiefs came out and I was able to take a picture of them with my wife.
Our food was outstanding. We started with a Caprese salad made with “Buffalo Creamy Mozzarella.”
My wife had the grilled vegetables, done perfectly. She ordered a side of tomato sauce.
I had the Spaghetti with clams. There were at least thirty small tasty clams. This dish was done, too, with perfection.
Michael recommended for dessert the Apple Pancake with vanilla ice-cream. Michael referred to this dessert as something they would eat in Bellagio. It was so good.
With wine, the bill was reasonable. What is most important, we enjoyed every moment. Barchetta Terrazza became one of our favorite restaurants in Italy, certainly in Bellagio.
