There are actually two Rainforest Café’s at Disney: one at Disney Springs and the other at Animal Kingdom. Both are special and fun.
The Rainforest Café at Disney Springs is right on a lake. There is a main entrance and if you look to the left, there is a patio entrance, “Lava Lounge,” which is open seating.
Many of the seats have views of the lake.
The only difference is there are no magical animals out on the patio area.
The service is good and attentive. We always enjoy the Safari Soup, extremely tasty with the sausage and pasta.
We have learned to add a side chicken plate with barbeque sauce on the side. The cost of the chicken is about three dollars. I like to always order my chicken, “blackened,” and they will accommodate the request.
As you sit by the lake, you can’t help but see the new causeway through Disney Springs, and the Boathouse “car” boats pass by with the occupants smiling.
