Located in the same plaza as Basset Furniture north of Stuart, this restaurant and deli is easy to miss, but never to be forgotten. One side of the restaurant is a Polish Deli; the other side is an inviting sit-down restaurant.
My two friends and I all had the Polish lunch plate which consisted of a sizeable portion of Kielbasa, three pirogue’s and delicious Hunter’s stew. There are several choices to make with the pirogue’s with cheese, potatoes, sweet cream, meat, mushroom and spinach.
The traditional Hunter’s stew was particularly tasty. The mild sauerkraut with bits and bacon and kielbasa is superbly delicious.
My friends and I vowed to come back here in the near future with another friend to experience this lovely ethnic food.
There are also a number of Greek items on the menu. Hamburgers, salads and chicken are also served. The tea is actually brewed. There are a number of Polish Beers on tap for those that want to partake with an adult beverage.
We did meander into the Deli and purchased several baked goods. The deli is quite extensive and would be a heaven for anyone knowing this good food.
