CAREGIVER CLASS

Checking into Moffitt Cancer Center with Marty Bielicki, Debbie Watson and Chris Watson to take a class in how to be a caregiver for Christina Watson.

Christina, our granddaughter, will begin her Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) on Friday, October 21st after 4 days of extremely strong chemotherapy which completely eliminates her immune system.
Debbie, our daughter and Christina’s mom, will be the donor. How wonderful is it when you can give life to your daughter twice!!

Christina will be in ICU for one month. and will need to stay near the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa for another two months. In 2013, she was diagnosed during her pregnancy with CML, which is a form of Leukemia. She was able to give birth to a very healthy baby girl while taking chemotherapy. After 3+ years of experimenting with all the chemotherapies available to her, the doctors have decided the best course of action is a BMT. She will have a long road to recovery but should come out of this free of cancer. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

Anyone wishing to contribute to assist with the high cost of this and her living expenses, there is a GoFundMe account. You can go to: www.gofundme.com and search: Christina Watson Jensen Beach. Any contribution would be gratefully appreciated.
