Located on Dixie Highway and East Ocean Avenue, this popular restaurant is easy to get to off of I-95. Close by is a small Dewey Park and that is where we parked behind the restaurant.
A lively bar, this restaurant has several sections. Inside and outside patio areas are offered. We sat in a cozy room at a bench.
The menu is varied. I chose the Chicken Jerk sandwich.
It was good, but more jerk seasoning was needed. My wife had the grilled chicken and liked that too.
Hurricane Alley is decorated as a place of refuge and anything relating to hurricanes. There are a number of pictures of hurricane related items, history of Boynton Beach and bar memorabilia.
There is even a small life-raft on the wall. The ambiance keeps your attention.
Overall, we were pleased. The food was good, but not outstanding. There seemed to be a loyal bar crowd that attends on a Sunday afternoon. We would rate the ambiance a solid four, the food three stars.
