Located on the winding road in Jerome, Arizona, The Haunted Hamburger is a “must do” place to eat. The actual restaurant has since been remodeled but the character still remains.

You will find a good meal served here. The owners have three other restaurants in the area and they know how to operate an inviting place.

I was a bit skeptical on how good the hamburger would be, but I should not have worried. I ordered the special that day which was a Hawaiian Burger. It was tasty and I loved the pineapple. Onions rings were substituted for fries and they were done very well.

My wife had the chicken salad. She thought the chicken had a lot of taste and it was moist.

Our other friends thought their meals were good too. The Chicken fajitas quesadillas and cheeseburger were excellent.

 There is plenty of character inside and outside. The hanging skeletons outside some of the places are a unique character about this place. You can choose to sit at a table or along a railing with a gorgeous view down the mountain and valley.

There is a small shop which sells souvenirs. We love the sign inside, “Pee, Shop and Leave.”
