Located on Becker Road at “The Shoppes at Veranda Falls,” Cornerstone Bistro 2 has access to Port St. Lucie and Palm City. This bistro is an inviting restaurant, aesthetically pleasing with stone interior and a large fountain outside.
The bar area opens up at 4:30 and the main restaurant at 5:00. There is plenty of seating inside and out.
Happy Hour and the Sunset menu go until 6:00 PM. Adult beverages are quite reasonable, maybe the best in the area.
We ordered from the Sunset Menu. An adult beverage is included with salad or soup, main entrée and dessert for $18.95.
I had the sausage and meatball dish. I was a tad disappointed that “Angel Hair” pasta came with it. On their web site, it was advertised that “Fettuccini” pasta was in order. The soup, too, was rather small. Ordering the salad would be a better idea.
My wife liked the Wild Salmon and my friend enjoyed the Coconut Shrimp. One of my guests loves Cornerstone’s “Sesame Seared Tuna” and will only eat this dish at this bistro.
The dessert was rather small. I have never had such a small piece of cheesecake. The Chocolate Cake seemed like the largest dessert offered.
Service was a bit slow. It was the height of “tourist season” and understandable. There was no rush for us to leave.
Overall, we were extremely impressed with Cornerstone Bistro, and have already planned with friends to come back.
