One of the Most Popular Restaurants in Waikiki
If you walk by this restaurant on a nightly basis, you will see why this Cheesecake is the busiest in their long list of restaurants. There is always a crowd of people waiting to be seated.
We like to eat at lunch where there is a cheaper “lunch menu.” Also, we go into the bar and “snag” one of the high-tops which are open to anyone—first come, first serve.
The service is usually outstanding. Many of the servers have worked at this Cheesecake for years.
We cannot resist the excellent bread and usually order the Passion Fruit tea. My wife enjoys the Kale salad. My daughter loved her steak and scampi shrimp dinner. I ordered the shrimp, sausage and pasta dish. For some reason, the sausage came out “burnt,” but it had wonderful taste.
We force ourselves to say “no” to the cheesecake. As many of you know, the Cheesecake cheesecake is phenomenal.
In our visits to Waikiki, we always make it to Cheesecake at least once when we can “snag” a high top table.
