When you have that sweet urge, I highly recommend Black Cow in “uptown” Sedona. They are famous for their Coffee Bar, Homemade Pies and Homemade Ice Cream. Originally created by two brothers, this place stands alone for your dessert shop.

An extremely popular place for locals and travelers alike, you will find something you like at a reasonable price. I thought the service was excellent, more like a seasoned team. Any type of wait did not last long.

I selected the homemade Pecan Pie. I could have it topped with a la mode style, but just wanted to take the piece to our hotel room. It was, indeed, delicious.

Even though I stayed but five minutes, I could tell this is a home-style kind of place, well-operated and worthy of five stars.
