Located at the Coral Gardens Resort, this is an easy place to find as you walk through the complex to reach the restaurant. You can park outside the complex, one of the few negatives about this place.
With many of the Restaurants on Turks and Caicos being “higher end” establishments, it was a nice find for a quality restaurant that is “mid-range” in prices.
The view and ambiance is spectacular overlooking Grace Bay and Coral Gardens Reef area. If you can, get a waterfront table on the second level. We liked this restaurant and would patronized them three times in our eight day stay.
We met “Mark,” one of the main managers who gave us an insight to what people liked on their menu. He recommended the Conch Ceviche which my wife absolutely loved.
I ordered the ribs with Chipotle and Molasses barbeque sauce. The ribs came out tender– off the bone type of ribs–and the barbeque sauce is so tasty.
On our second visit I ordered “Steak Fajitas.” It was good, but the meat came out in large chunks. I like it already thinly sliced. I thought the price of $25 is a bit pricy. Sour cream, too, came with the meal which I did not order for an extra dollar. I went back to the tasty ribs for $18 on our third meal.
Drinks were generous and good. Lenny did a super job making delicious Pina Coladas.
Mark made mention of another “Somewhere” will be born in St. Petersburg, FL in the next year or two. We hope to visit that one someday too. There is no question that Somewhere Café is Five Stars for us.
