A very popular restaurant for locals and visitors alike, tucked into a quaint patio area in the historic area of Santa Fe, this restaurant deserves at least one meal.
Reservations are recommended if you come during peak holiday times. We waited twenty minutes at the beginning of dinner. There is inside and outside seating.
Known for its “margarita’s,” I did have to send my first drink back. The waitress agreed that “it just didn’t taste right.” I appreciated her honesty. No problem as I ordered a different margarita.
My wife thoroughly enjoyed her “Wild-Caught Salmon” salad. Not fishy at all.
I had the marinated “shrimp” dish. I asked if the shrimp could be “seasoned,” but it could not be done.
The nice couple beside us thoroughly enjoyed their dishes of a 10oz Ribeye Steak and an Enchilada Plate. They actually had a small dog which is permissible at this establishment. There is an abundance New Mexico ambiance at The Shed, well worth discovering.
