Winning Ambiance and Good Food
The newest addition to “Downtown Disney Springs” is filled with ambiance and good food. Even though pricy, you will not be disappointed in what you order.
The Shrimp cocktail is excellent. Extra-large fresh shrimp are used and the cocktail sauce is made to perfection. At first we balked at the price of $4 a piece, but after ordering one, we ordered three more!
The Boat House is magically designed as a “Yachting Restaurant” and it hits the mark thoroughly. There is even a boat that your family could sit in and have a meal. There are, too, even “car boats” outside you can actually rent—although pricy too.
We had tasty P.E.I. Steamed Mussels two days in a row with extra crostini.
We added the Filet Mignon Sliders which are quite tasty. On our third adventure we ordered the “Local Cedar Key Middleneck Clams” which have a tasty garlic broth.
Even going to the restroom is an experience. The picture on the door directed you to the correct room, and the bathroom was ultra clean.
The Ultimate Michelob bottle beer was the coldest I have had in long time. We sat at the bar admiring the ambiance of this unique place, watching the bartenders working hard and doing the normal “people watching.”
Most dishes are well into the $20 range, and there was a combo plate for two over $100 for dinner. We would not hesitate again to visit this most welcomed addition to Downtown Disney Springs.
