Having visited 46 of 50 states and having traveled to 35 countries, I have eaten my share of Chinese food. China Star stands out as one of my favorite Chinese restaurants.
First, the consistency of the food is outstanding. China Star is true to the recipes. The pork fried rice, for example, always is made with egg, onions, peas, small bits of carrots and plenty of tasty pork.
Michael and Nina Wang have been at this location for several years. A lot of people have dined at China Star over the years. I have personally have seen lawyers, sheriffs and teachers who continue to patronize China Star. It has a history of producing quality Chinese food for the community. The prices, too, are extremely reasonable.
I particularly love the Chicken Szechuan dish and Chicken Curry. The Egg Drop soup, too, is outstanding and is one of my favorites at China Star. You would be remiss in not trying China Star at least once. You may like it as much as I do.
You may see the Wang’s oldest daughter–maybe 13 years of age, Angela, at the register. The youngest son, Eric, will probably follow dad’s role as chef someday. The family takes great pride in having the best Chinese food in the area, period.
