Bern is the capital of Switzerland. It lies just west of the center of Switzerland. The central building of the Federal Palace in quite impressive. We came by train in June of 2016. Old City Bern, Switzerland started along the river Aare around 1200AD. Suffered the Black Plague around 1350. And became the home to Albert Einstein for a time. We found it fascinating watching life unfold in Bern the past two days. Market Day was superbly interesting.
